Fred Parady Joins EnerCrest

Parady to serve as Vice President of Operations and Health, Safety and Environment.

Big Piney, Wyoming – May 9, 2007 – EnerCrest, a Wyoming-based integrated energy and environmental solutions company, is pleased to announce that Fred Parady has joined the company’s senior leadership team as Vice-President of Operations and HS&E, reporting to Shaun Andrikopoulos, Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Andrikopoulos said “We are excited to bring Fred’s significant minerals industry experience and insight onto our leadership team. He has decades of management experience in safety and environmental issues, and has worked nearly 30 years in mining and reclamation operations. His background and abilities will strengthen our operational management capabilities considerably to match our rapid growth, while also extending EnerCrest as the dominant player in sustainable oilfield operations.”

Mr. Parady joins EnerCrest after a fifteen-year stint as Mine Manager and Manager of Health, Safety, and Environmental Services at OCI Wyoming, L.P., a major soda ash producer located in Green River. In his new role, Mr. Parady will run EnerCrest’s safety, earthwork and reclamation operations.

“Leaving OCI after fifteen rewarding years was not an easy choice for me. Joining EnerCrest allows for exciting growth in my career, and more importantly, in an industry that must deliver innovation and quality when it comes to environmental solutions,“ Parady said. “This is a very forward-thinking company, and that is what oil and gas customers and consumers alike are demanding. I am looking forward to working with the EnerCrest team to serve its customers and expand the company’s operations with high safety standards,” said Mr. Parady.

Under Mr. Parady’s leadership, OCI’s Big Island mine was the lowest cost producer in the industry. He also was a member of Bridger Coal Company’s senior leadership team, located in Rock Springs. During his eleven year tenure there, he led Bridger Coal Company’s reclamation, safety, and engineering functions. He won two national reclamation awards from the Office of Surface Mining (OSM) while at Bridger Coal. Under his safety leadership, each operation earned Sentinels of Safety awards from the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) as recognition for the safest mine in the United States. While at OCI, he also participated in seven acquisition due diligence teams, including successful acquisitions in deals exceeding $700 million.

Mr. Parady holds both an M.S. degree in Land Rehabilitation from Montana State University and a B.S. degree in Range Resources from the University of Idaho. He served ten years in the Wyoming House of Representatives, culminating as Speaker of the House in the 2003-4 biennium.

He is active in his community, currently serving as Chairman of the Young At Heart Senior Citizen Center Foundation Board. He also is a member of the Management Committee of the Wyoming Business Alliance. He is a life long United Way volunteer and served as President of the Board of Directors of the Sweetwater County Youth Home when the organization built a new 15 bed Youth Crisis Shelter in the mid-1990s. He is a graduate of Leadership Wyoming with the Class of 2006.

Mr. Parady is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) from the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE). He also is a certified by the Wyoming State Mine Inspector as both a Surface Coal and Underground Trona Foreman.
