KC Harvey, Inc. Expands Capacity in 2007

Leading environmental consulting firm hires 11 top-level professionals and opens office in Buffalo, WY in response to increase in demand for services.

Bozeman, Montana – May 11, 2007 – KC Harvey, Inc., one of the leading environmental consulting firms in the Rocky Mountain region, announced today its expansion plans for 2007. In response to growing demand for its consulting services and its continued customer service commitment, KC Harvey has increased its consulting services capacity by adding key personnel, scientific expertise, equipment, and a new field office to service the Powder River Basin. The company now employs seventeen science professionals and maintains offices in Bozeman, MT, Buffalo, WY and Big Piney, WY.

KC Harvey’s growth comes in the wake of its November 2006 merger with EnerCrest, which combined KC Harvey’s world class science capabilities with EnerCrest’s oilfield service offerings. Combining the companies established EnerCrest as the premier environmentally-driven oilfield services company. “EnerCrest has provided us with the capital, finance, and administrative expertise that has enabled KC Harvey to attract leading scientists and acquire state-of-the-art equipment,” said Kevin Harvey, the founder, President and Chief Scientist of KC Harvey. “With the EnerCrest platform, KC Harvey is able to maintain the highest service standards for our customers and to deliver the industry’s best problem-solving and innovative approaches to our core soil and water management, and land reclamation solutions.”

Over the past six months, KC Harvey has doubled in size by hiring ten new scientists and technicians including: Dave Marshall, Geologist with 23 years experience in technical solutions including GIS, remote sensing, and hydrologic modeling; Kate Norvell, MS in Soil Chemistry from Colorado State University; Brian Kozar MS in Soil Science from Montana State University; and seven additional professionals with expertise in soil science, water management, geology, and range science. In addition to scientific expansion, KC Harvey also broadened its business and operational expertise with the addition of Deborah Jacobs, MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

The increase in KC Harvey’s personnel is augmented by the acquisition of state-of-the-art sampling equipment including a new Giddings hydraulic soil sampling machine, GIS and remote sensing software and workstations, and statistical analysis tools. KC Harvey is also involved in EnerCrest’s development of a sophisticated oilfield lifecycle and data management software solution, which is scheduled for completion during 2007. In January 2007, KC Harvey and EnerCrest opened a new office in Buffalo, WY to support growing project work in the Powder River Basin. The staff in Buffalo includes Brian Edwards, Soil Scientist, and Jim Jones, Environmental Field Technician.

KC Harvey continues to lead the industry in providing innovative ideas and solutions to complex environmental challenges surrounding oilfield operations. “EnerCrest’s integrated and environmentally-conscious approach to oilfield services has been a tremendous success in the industry. We’ve had positive responses from our customers as they now employ EnerCrest’s end-to-end service offerings. Our decision to expand the capacity of KC Harvey allows EnerCrest to meet the rising demand for our unique service offerings with top quality service,” said Shaun Andrikopoulos, EnerCrest’s Chief Executive Officer.
